As I stated in last month's
newsletter, I am so appreciative of and thankful for the staff
you have assembled here at County Line. Their dedication
and commitment far exceed their stated hours per week and job
descriptions. When you see them in the hallways and
classrooms tell them "thank you " and also how much
you appreciated what they do.
Our Mother's Morning Out and
Preschool are both off with much enthusiasm and lots of little
voices and feet! I don't know how the teachers do
it! God bless you for your commitment and hard work.
Our Wednesday Night program
now has a name! REJUVENATE! We hope you and your
family will come and be rejuvenated by the activities and
fellowship available to you. An outstanding program has
been organized for our children once again. The schedule
is somewhat different...I ask you to five it a chance to work
and let us get settled into it.
Our youth continue to impress
me with their enthusiasm and commitment, and I believe that is
the result of the strong leadership we have in that
area. I urge y ou to join them in the Work Day they are
sponsoring on September 13. If you have ideas of work
that might be done, please see either Celia Jernigan or
Brandon Herder.
In seeking to grow
spiritually as a congregation, a adult class on spiritual
formation is being offered Wednesday evenings this fall from
6-7 pm. This is part of the "Companions in
Christ" Bible study, and will enable us to examine our
spirituality and develop ways to increase it.
As you can see, there is much
happening at County Line UMC! I want you to be a part of
all we do. There is a play for you and your family,
whatever your ages or stages in life.
Blessings,
Katie
