Program Days

Our Preschool Program offers three attendance options:

Each family will choose one of the above options when registering their child.  Once the selection is made, should you need to change your families’ option or day(s), please contact the Preschool Director and we will try to accommodate you.  It is our belief that to best serve your child we must also be flexible when possible.  

Hours of Operation

The preschool operates Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.. 

The 2008-2009 school year for County Line UMC Preschool begins Monday, August 18, 2008 and ends Thursday, May 14, 2009.

Arrival

Our doors will open in the morning at 8:55 am and will remain open until 9:10 am.  One of our staff members will greet your child every morning and assist him/her from the car and into the building (rain or shine).  When loading and unloading, always place your car in PARK.  If you arrive after 9:10 am, please park in the designated area and walk your child into the building and to his/her classroom.  To ensure the safety of the children, doors will be locked from 9:10 am until 11:55 am.

The staff at County Line UMC Preschool is sensitive to the well being and safety of our children.  We are expecting some “tears” during the first couple of days of carpool and rest assured, every effort will be made to console the children and make their first days at County Line happy ones.  It is much easier on everyone if you do not walk your child to his/her classroom door.  Please use the carpool line.  The teachers are prepared to greet the children as they arrive and introduce them to the daily activities and routines.  Having to separate from parents at the classroom door can be very disruptive for everyone! 

FEES:

Registration Fee 2008-2009

A registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.  This fee covers the cost of craft supplies, tote bag, markers, crayons, etc…and will cover the entire school year.  The fee is based upon the attendance option you choose for your child.  

• $135.00 - 2 and 3 Year Olds

• $175.00 - 4 Year Olds

Tuition

• Tuition is calculated on the number of weeks in our school year and then evenly divided into nine (9) equal (monthly) payments.  Prorating for illness, holidays, bad weather or moving is not a policy.  Tuition is paid one month in advance and is due on the first of each month.  If it is not paid by the twentieth (20th) of the month a late fee of $10.00 will be assessed for tuition paid after this date.  A $25.00 service charge will be applied to all returned checks.  If a check is returned twice, you will be asked to pay future tuition on a cash basis only.

• Each child will have an envelope with his/her name on it that will be sent home the week before tuition is due.  Please put your check in the envelope and return it to school in your child’s school bag.

• Please notify the Preschool Director immediately if there is a need to make a late payment.  Unless arrangements have been made in advance with the director, the preschool board will review delinquent accounts of one month and dismissal of the child from the program will be considered.  

NEW FOR THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR
