Children's Ministries
But
Jesus called for them and said “Let the little children come to me,
and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom
of heaven belongs.” Luke 18:16
County Line United Methodist loves children. Our
volunteers and staff are background checked and have been through
Safe-Sanctuary training.
We have nursery available Sunday mornings. We have Sunday School
at 10 am. We also have Wee Worship for ages 2-5, and
Children's Church for grades K-2 which takes place during the 11 am
worship service. Sunday evenings during (F3) Faith, Family &
Fellowship, we offer Children's Choirs and Pioneer Clubs (fun
clublike bible-study/activity time).
Children are encouraged to serve. Acolytes serve by lighting the
candles and assisting during offering time. We also have a
group called Kids in Mission. Kids in Mission is an active
group of children who study and work to improve our community by
being active examples of Christ. Some of our current and past
activities include: collecting canned goods for MUST Ministries,
collecting used eye glasses for the Lion's Club, visiting a nursing
home, making cards for orphan's, craft projects for the homebound,
marching in a parade, cards for soldiers, as well as on-campus
church projects. Kids in Mission meets on 5th Sundays during (F3)
time and specially scheduled events.
Children's Ministries also hosts and helps with several fun
events during the year such as: Vacation Bible School,
Eggstravaganza, Polar Express & Pancakes, Summer Events and the
Splish Splash Back-to-School Bash. For more information
